Camping for Duke of Edinburgh’s Award groups

Pindale Farm has proudly offered camping for Duke of Edinburgh’s Award groups since 1988, when we had the honour of introducing ten D of E participants to the Prince of Wales at our official opening. In the years since, we’ve welcomed well over 100,000 bed nights from D of E groups, something we’re truly proud of.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s scheme does wonderful things for young people, building their confidence, resilience, sense of responsibility, and motivation, while encouraging them to give something back to their communities and the environment along the way. We’re right behind you every step of the journey.

Camping for D of E groups is set apart from the general public, in separate areas, though you’ll share the same toilet and shower facilities. Please note that vehicles are not permitted in these areas.

As for cost, we’re pleased to offer D of E participants on expedition a discount of £1.50 per night, bringing camping to £10.50 per person, per night. We’re also happy for D of E groups to book for just one night while on expedition.
