We’d like to share a gentle but honest word about bookings. Once you’ve booked with us, please do try to honour it. A change of heart, or weather that isn’t quite to your liking, sadly isn’t a reason to cancel at the last minute or simply not turn up.

It really isn’t fair to book a pitch or room and then, at the eleventh hour, decide not to come and not to pay. Nor is it fair to ask us to hold accommodation “just in case” you might make it. And perhaps most of all, it isn’t fair on the other guests we’ve had to turn away, people looking for a well-earned break, who then can’t find anywhere to stay.

When Covid was still a real concern, we worked very hard to provide a safe, welcoming environment so that people could enjoy some time out after the lockdowns, only to be let down by no-shows. So we kindly ask you to be responsible and honest with us. Our usual terms are now back to normal: we’ll ask for a deposit to confirm your booking, and we trust you to arrive as booked and settle the balance on arrival.

To help us get you safely into the diary, please remember to complete our booking form. We’ll then send an invoice for your deposit to confirm everything.

On a brighter note, our new high-speed WiFi system is working beautifully and now covers all the rooms and camping areas.
